Who runs Tappme
Tappme is a loyalty program run by Manuel De Luna (728 Cotorra St, Eagle Pass, TX 78852), who is responsible for your personal data. Each business where you have a card sees your name, your visits and your rewards at that business, and only the last 4 digits of your phone. Contact: Manuel De Luna, manuelbuiltronn@gmail.com.
What we collect
Your name, phone and email; your birthday if you choose to give it; your language; the date, time and tag of each visit; the rewards you earn and redeem; and whether a friend invited you. We use a technical cookie to recognize your phone. We don't use third-party advertising or analytics cookies.
How we use it
To add your points, give you rewards and gifts, let you back into your card if you change phones, and, only if you leave a business's promotions box checked (it gets checked when you accept this notice and the terms, and you can uncheck it), remind you of pending rewards and send you its promotions. We keep the date you agreed. You can stop receiving emails with the link in each one.
What we don't do
We don't sell your data. We don't use it for targeted advertising or profiling. A business can't see your data from other businesses.
Who we share it with
Only the providers that run the service: hosting (Vercel), database (Supabase), email delivery (Resend) and error reporting (Sentry, without personal data). They can't use it for anything else. If you add your card to Google Wallet, Google receives your first name, points and invite code to show you the pass.
How long we keep it
As long as you have your account. If you delete it, we erase your personal data and only keep anonymous totals (for example, a business's number of visits).
Your rights (including under Texas law)
You can delete your account yourself from your card (“My account”). You can also ask for a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, or stop receiving promotions by emailing manuelbuiltronn@gmail.com. We reply within 45 days. If you disagree with our answer, you can appeal by writing to the same address; if you still disagree, you can contact the Texas Attorney General.
Children
Tappme is not for children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect their data. If you think a child under 13 signed up, email us and we'll delete the account.
Security
We protect your data with encrypted connections, access limited per business, and one-time codes to get into your card.
Changes
If we change this notice, we'll update the date above and, if the change is significant, let you know by email.
